New Aprilia MIA control unit. Hardware update. It is equipped with internal memory to manage the numerous pre-installed tracks and record data during track sessions. This way, there’s no need to carry a smartphone with you, but after your track session, it’s easy to download the data from the memory to manage it using the apps available on your smartphone. To record lap times at the track without a smartphone, the Aprilia MIA must be connected to the GPS sensor (part number 2S002389), which must be purchased separately.
In addition, a vehicle-specific installation kit is required.
Important Note:
MIA systems are shipped from the manufacturer with different software versions. An update to the latest firmware version is typically performed as part of the unlocking or activation process by an authorized Piaggio dealer. Please note that some dealers may charge a service fee for this service or for any necessary software updates. These costs are not included in the purchase price and will not be covered by us.
